"Traveled with 2 kids, 5 & 11- they loved it! Great stay with kids- lots of options for pools and the beach and super easy to go between both the rum fish and island grand sites. Restaurants on site were good and the kids loved the s’mores at night and different activities. We upgraded to an ocean view villa when we arrived and glad we did. Room was nice and clean. As many have stated there are cosmetic updates around the resort that are needed but it didn’t detract from our stay- I kinda knew that going in based on reviews we read. Overall would recommend especially if traveling with young kids!"

"We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Clearwater Beach. We paid a premium price to book a gulf view king bedroom, when we checked in to our room, we were shocked that our view was of the front parking lot and the bed was a queen. My husband figured maybe they had put us in the wrong room so he asked the front desk agent about it. She advised that even though we booked a king bed and gulf view, those were considered preferences and not always accommodated. She said she could move us to a different room for an additional $400usd a night. We decided to stay where we were originally placed as we had to also pay a premium price for parking and additional resort fees. Upon inspection, our room looked as though it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. It was dated and paint was chipping from the bottom of every door. When we decided to check out the beach, we were told it was $91usd to rent an umbrella and two beach chairs in the row furthest away from the water and that no outside equipment was allowed. The closer the beach equipment, the higher the price. The employees doing equipment rentals were not friendly at all. Honestly, other than the front desk agent, none of the staff were very friendly. Overall, the experience was less than ideal. We felt unwelcome and taken advantage of. We love Clearwater Beach but we will not be returning to the Hilton."

"The location was great, however, the power went out on the second night and we decided to stay with friends. The staff, well 1 woman, was very rude and disrespectful to anyone that walked into the office. Instead of being apologetic and understanding, she purposely took her time in anyway possible. The room wasn’t bad just small and for the price, a motel 6 would’ve been comparable. It was unfortunate and I wouldn’t recommend to stay there, but everyone has a different experience. If you do stay, I hope your experience is better than ours"

"The beach view was obstucted would be labeleda partial view at best , current construction going on and was not aware until we got there. Paying for umbrellas and chairs at the beach from our resort was not advertised, would have chosen elsewhere. Good attentive staff at both Harrys and Rumrunners! Food was pretty good and the drinks were delicious."
